A French software corporation Dassault Systèmes (3DS), which is among Fortune 50 list of the largest 3D software companies in the world, held an annual virtual conference and dedicated one sessions to KG Constructions case study analysis. It was watched by as many as 10,000 spectators worldwide.
More precisely, our organization was presented as one of the best examples in the field of engineering design through the CATIA program on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and the successful implementation of international cooperation between the customer-partner-manufacturer.
A pioneer in computer aided design with CATIA, 3DS has expanded into a diverse range of software categories and industries. Established companies and startups use the company’s 3DEXPERIENCE platform to create, test and optimize consumer and business-to-business products and services.
“Our team of design department has come a long and challenging way and we were the ones to examine the CATIA program faster and in more detail than the pioneers”,- said Mindaugas Bluzma, Head of KGC’s Design Department. According to him, the emerging needs of customers and the rapidly changing construction sector have led to improvements, the involvement of promising engineers in the learning process and the discovery of what no one has been able to do so far.
“We contacted Dassault Systèmes’s R&D department, involved them in the processes and received a lot of useful information to improve our business processes. In the end, we were spotted and invited to be mentioned as a good example for others. It is gratifying that we were able to spread the name of Lithuania and KGC internationally”, – commented M. Bluzma.
Until now, none Lithuanian company has been so strongly mentioned and presented at the international level. We are thankful for trusting all partners and grateful to the entire KGC design team for their desire to improve and move into the Constructions 4.0 era!
