Boasting a modern façade, the SEB headquarters building looks like two separate buildings, but in reality it is a single building. It can be accessed both from Konstitucijos Avenue and from Upės Street. Both of these entrances are connected by an impressive amphitheater extending over two floors, revealing the concept of the building and connecting the streets. The building has been designed, built and operated to meet the highest “BREEAM International New Construction” certification. The atmosphere is created by combining Nordic, Lithuanian and Swedish culture in our time. All the used materials are natural: wood, stone and rough plaster. On the roof of one of the buildings is a solar power plant, the energy of which is used for engineering systems. The building is equipped with a modern air and water heating and cooling system. The building is also equipped with efficient lighting that adapts to human biological rhythms and corresponds to the cycle of natural light. The black and unique double-glazed façade of the building has several functions and performs a double security system. The exterior single-glass façade protects the premises from direct sunlight and thus maintaining a comfortable indoor climate. The second function of this double façade is to protect the interior from street noise.

“KG Constructions Group” have designed, produced, transported and installed 458 unique double-skin unitised curtain wall units.
