65 Crutched Friars is a transformative 20-story building in the heart of the City of London, reaching a height of 61 meters. This mixed-use development will feature a museum on the lower three floors and purpose-built student accommodation from level 3 upwards.
Located just north of Fenchurch Street Station and the Tower of London, the project occupies a prominent corner site in a constrained area. The development will transform a former 5-story office block into a landmark structure, providing student residences and 780 student beds.
The lower three floors will house the new permanent home of London’s Migration Museum, covering 30,000 sq ft. In addition, the project will include green spaces open to the public, such as a new pocket park enriching the local community.
KG Constructions Group is responsible for the construction of 9,075 m² of tower facades, 939 m² of GRC cladding, approximately 2,300 unitized panels, and 1,382 post-fixed horizontal GRC spandrels.
