This administrative building, developed in the northern part of Stockholm for the Church of Sweden. This project is unique, because, in contrast to traditional construction with cross-laminated timber, where the assembly of building constructions, insulation, facade finishing and window installing are carried out on the contruction site, this project was executed a bit differently.
Our specialists completely assembled wall elements at the factory, then delivered them to the construction site and assembled them there, which guaranteed a speedier execution and better quality.
The specialists designed channels for pipes and wires, airducts and built-in furniture. 90 % of timber slab area was used as the final interior finish, which provided the building with cosiness and distinctiveness. These days, because of the excellent physical and mechanical qualities of cross-laminated timber, buildings exceeding more than 70 meters are being designed and built.
