Domstolsbyggnad – Nordic region’s largest court building. The building covers approximately 34,000 m2 gross area. The building consists of a house body on four levels with a common foundation and on top of this five towers that are offset from each other in a north-south direction and are gradually stepped down in height.

KGC Group was responsible for the design, production, transportation and installation of the facades. The building’s façade goes from a brick façade at the bottom to a glass tower, where the brick is gradually phased out to become glass only. There are high environmental requirements for the building, which include energy use and the indoor environment. All 10 618 m2 of hybrid facade elements are with BIOCLEAN glass and it is now one of the biggest projects in Europe with such technology. BIOCLEAN is a low-maintenance self-cleaning glass. It saves money and water as less frequent and less intensive cleaning is needed.

Our total facades scope is: unitised (single and double-skin) 14 803 m2 and stick 1 358 m2.
