A unique new business area developed in Vilnius Saltoniškių st. 7, next to the business complex Baltic Hearts. “KG Constructions Group” was responsible for the facades for the first and second buildings in this area. The first stage has been completed in 2017 and Danske Bank Global Services Centre has opened its doors. In total, four buildings was constructed at this location.
Lithuanian and Danish architects, who collaborated to design this complex, prioritized nature. Therefore, a lot of attention was paid to sunlight – it is aimed to ensure that every workplace would receive as much natural light as possible. The sunlight also was harnessed to provide electricity for the building: photoelements placed on the roofs produced at least one tenth of the electricity required.
These buildings there is one of the few A energy efficiency class buildings in Vilnius. The first S7 building received the BREEAM New Construction Excellent certificate. This is the 1st building in Lithuania and the 2nd in the Baltic States to achieve such rating. It shows that the building meets international sustainability requirements.
