UAB “KG Constructions” and UAB “KG Energija” together with the Ministry of Economy and Innovation signed a large investment project contract, according to which they plan to build a new factory in Vilnius District Municipality. It is intended to create about 340 new jobs and attract 20.5 million euros in investments.
“After taking this step, we gave the green light for the next stage of our expansion – designing a new factory and administrative building. This cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and Innovation will open opportunities over the next five years, allow us to smoothly expand our production capacities with a reliable partner, develop products based on innovative solutions, and create more than 300 new jobs. Our goal, as it has been over the past three years while entering new markets, remains the same – to not limit ourselves to Northern Europe but to go further and prepare for significant growth in 2025-2027,” shares Linas Karžinauskas, CEO of KG Constructions Group.
The CEO acknowledges that this will be a period not only of opportunities but also of challenges and strategic decisions that will reshape production capacities. “The aim is to install more than 16 assembly lines in the new facility, specializing the current production base as a centre for machinery and robotic equipment.”
The new factory, covering an area of 15,700 square meters, will house aluminium processing and assembly centres, which will double the current production volumes.
“This is already the sixteenth major investment project. We estimate that all the agreements signed to date will help create over 4,100 new well-paying jobs in our country and attract more than €1.4 billion in investments,” says Minister of Economy and Innovation Aušrinė Armonaitė.
