In 2025, KG Constructions Group actively engaged in a variety of community and corporate social responsibility initiatives, including student education, participation in career days, factory visits, and support for local communities. The company consistently shared its expertise, resources, and opportunities with young professionals, partners, and the wider public, promoting career guidance and social responsibility.
Julius Zykus, Head of KGC’s BIM Department, organized meetings with students from Vilnius TECH, presenting real-life BIM (Building Information Modeling) projects. Students had the opportunity to observe how projects develop from the initial model to final implementation, explore the applications of BIM in façade engineering, and understand project coordination processes. The longstanding partnership with Vilnius TECH was further strengthened in 2025, allowing both students and faculty to gain a deeper understanding of façade engineering and manufacturing processes within a real business context.
The KGC team also actively participated in career days, such as Vilnius TECH “GRAVITY” and VIKO “STADI 2025”, providing students and young professionals with insights into the construction, design, and façade engineering sectors. These events highlighted international projects, opportunities for practical work within the company, façade design methodologies, and the employer’s role in the construction industry. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions about real-world professional challenges and career prospects at KGC.
Factory visits at KGC’s Riešė facility offered TECHIN students a close-up view of façade solutions development and CNC technology in action. During these visits, students were introduced to the entire manufacturing process – from technical drawings to finished components – as well as modern production technologies that enhance professional training and practical knowledge.
In 2025, KGC also actively contributed to social support initiatives. The company donated computers to the Kalvelių Crisis Centre in Vilnius District, providing children and families with access to modern technologies essential for learning, studying, and everyday activities. Additionally, funds raised through the “Bake Sale Day” initiative were dedicated to supporting children’s emotional well-being in healthcare settings, contributing to the Red Noses – Clown Doctors program, which promotes positive experiences for children in hospitals.
KGC’s engagement in community life and social responsibility activities in 2025 reflects the company’s strong commitment to sharing knowledge, experience, and resources, helping young people develop practical skills, build professional careers, and providing support to local communities and children’s well-being.
