KGC opened its doors to students from the TECHin Vocational Training Centre – future CNC machine specialists who visited our factory not just for a tour, but to experience how complex façade solutions are created in real life.
This introductory visit gave the students an opportunity to see modern manufacturing up close, understand the role of CNC technologies, and learn what skills are needed to become professionals in this field.
What Did the Students Discover?
The tour was led by our Head of Manufacturing Technologies, Jonas Baltmiškis, who guided the students through the entire production chain – from concept and technical drawings to a precisely manufactured final component.
A Close Look at CNC Machinery
Students observed the operation of our CNC equipment, cutting, bending, and other modern machines. We explained how each of them contributes to quality, precision, and efficiency in our production.
Production Processes
We demonstrated how detailed project components are transformed into actual façade elements, how assembly is carried out, how quality is ensured, and how every operator plays a critical role in the final product.
Inside the Operator’s Role
Students heard what daily work really looks like – the challenges and responsibilities of a machine operator, the tools they use, and the level of precision required in modern production. It was an excellent chance to understand what it means to work not in a classroom, but in real industry.
